Camping and Caravanning Club walks at Great Shelford / Cambridge site

It is with pleasure that we have just published out latest walks for the Camping and Caravanning Club. These are centred on the recently refurbished site at Great Shelford just outside Cambridge. The walks give an opportunity to relax an unwind by getting into the glorious countryside that surrounds the site and city.

The route is nearly all accessible for wheelchair users with the exceptions of a few short stretches where suitable alternatives can be found by using nearby cycleways. These can be found easily using the ViewRanger.com app (free of charge).

There is an abundance of history throughout both walks as well as being able to enjoy the natural environment which could give you the opportunity of seeing birds such as kingfishers darting from the willows into the river.

As with all of Skye Strolls Ltd walks they are available to be downloaded and followed on smartphones free of charge from ViewRanger.com. The walks are also available from our Facebook Page, along with some photographs taken as we explored the area.

We hope you enjoy these walks as much as we did in preparing them.
